hello! i am a phd candidate at the university of virginia in the department of environmental sciences. i am a daughter, sister, entomologist, and bee/clay/fiber enthusiast. my research and artistic practice is interested in investigating how organisms (including humans!) shape materials to make home and build a sense of place and community.
